Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NOMCON 2022 will be hosted on a virtual platform. The dates are 5 days over four weeks in June, and we are excited to have a new and improved virtual exhibitor space! Exhibit at Nation of Makers’ annual convening, NOMCON, June 2022 virtually. In this five-day (over 4 weeks*) virtual conference, we’re bringing together the breadth of the national maker community to:
Build and nurture our strong and diverse Nation of Makers network - from grassroots maker organizations, for-profit and non-profit organizations, corporations and industries, government entities and more
Generate robust, long-lasting collaborations, partnerships and projects that achieve more impact than
any one organization could achieve on its ownMaintain and encourage the growth of an inclusive Nation of Makers membership
Maximize and quantify both the local and global impact of the maker movement, through the passion, creativity and diversity of the maker community

We invite your organization’s participation in supporting NOMCON 2022. Our theme, "Five years of Changemaking: Envisioning the next five years of maker-driven change in the U.S. and Beyond", will build off of previous conference themes, and take a forward look at what role our community sees for the maker movement in the future. Beyond just visioning, this unique conference will engage our entire community in thoughtful dialogue, and concrete, actionable next steps to push forward the work of the first five years of Nation of Makers, and the more than a decade of work and impact of the American Maker Movement.
Together, we can sustain the maker movement by building an inclusive ecosystem with maker organizations of all shapes and sizes.
Join us as we shape NOMCON 2022 - a conference geared towards leaders of maker organizations, filled with engaging dialogue, facilitated breakout sessions, small-team working groups, open discussions, structured and unstructured networking opportunities, dynamic speakers, and interactive exhibits.
Our theme, From Local to Global: Supporting Local Makers to Create a Resilient Movement for Positive Global Change, will also feature prominently in our Virtual Experience (Exhibitor) space, which provides an opportunity for your organization to host a virtual booth on our virtual platform. What sets this conference apart is our maker leader community, which is built upon leaders who themselves are creators, inventors and lifelong learners. Those wishing to exhibit can expect to provide engaging dialogue, experiences and interactive virtual exhibits. The Nation of Makers will provide assistance in the process to ensure your planned experiences are interactive and in keeping with the overall vision for the conference and the virtual space.
